This piece is a tribute to all the great female vocalists whose performances I’ve enjoyed over the years. It was inspired by my Soror Maria Howell, who gave weekly YouTube concerts during the 2020 coronavirus quarantine accompanied by the amazing Noel Freidline on piano. Their “Live By Request” shows were a highlight of our week during this challenging time. Both Noel and Maria are popular artists on the local music scene in Charlotte.

The art prints offered for sale are reproductions of an original art quilt design created by Charlotte-based fiber artist Linda Keene.
